Born: 1962
Origin: Normal guy Bruce Banner expiriments with gamma radiation (on
himself) and uhhh... over does it.
Result: Bruce becomes big green dude and EXTREMELY strong. And the madder
Hulk gets, the stronger Hulk gets.
Side Notes: The Hulk has at least four distinct MPD (multiple personality
disorder) personas. These personas have triggered the appearance of Bruce
Banner, The Grey Hulk, Savage Hulk and The Professor. Splinter incarnations
of these basic four personas have also appeared (including Guilt Hulk and
Devil Hulk). Still more MPD personas may reside within The Hulk also... time
will tell.
It is said by Hulk fans that even Superman would be no match for the Hulk's sheer strength! The Hulk can lift approximately 100 tons when calm. And from there, the figures only escalate as he becomes more enraged. As yet, there has never been a limit placed on the Hulk's ultimate strength.... it is assumed, therefore, to be limitless.
Hulk is also very resistant to mind control (probably due to his MPD), a great leaper, has unusual mental abilities, accelerated healing, and extreme durability. Hulk is immune to all known Earth-based diseases, including AIDS. Hulk is a Marvel Comics property.
